The SonBlazers football team traveled to Arizona and came home with an impressive 42-16 victory over Maryvale Prep. After a long haul across the desert, our boys came out firing on all cylinders and dominated from start to finish.
Strong Performance on the Road
The team displayed tremendous heart and determination throughout the game. We scored on our first, second, and third offensive plays right out of the gate, setting the tone early and establishing dominance. The defense was equally impressive, shutting down Maryvale Prep's offensive threats and forcing key turnovers. Every player on both sides of the ball contributed to this hard-fought victory.
Well-Deserved Rest
After such an intense matchup and long road trip, the boys have earned a well-deserved bye week. This week will give the team time to rest, recover, and prepare mentally and physically for the stretch run of the season. The coaching staff will use this time to evaluate film, make adjustments, and ensure everyone returns healthy and ready to compete.
Coming Home to the Field of Dreams
The SonBlazers will return home to the Field of Dreams for their next matchup against Capitan on September 17th. After a bye week to recharge, the team will be eager to continue their winning ways on home turf. Come out and support your SonBlazers as they take the field in front of the home crowd!
